ASI - 3801 Series Straight Grab Bar – Peened
Features include cover that snaps over mounting flange dimples to conceal screws and concealed mounting flange of 3-1/8″ (79 mm) O.D. diameter with 2 screw holes and 3 locking dimples; 1/8″ (3 mm) thick, type 304 stainless steel. Cover is type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish and 22 gauge, 3-3/16″ (81 mm) diameter.

Capacity
ASI grab bars are designed to meet and exceed 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and ANSI A117.1. The fabricated product is designed to support a load in excess of 250 pounds (113.4 kg). Proper wall mounting, anchoring and an adequately sized fastener system are required to meet the specified loading requirements.

Installation
Use the grab bar as a template to locate and pre-drill the mounting holes. Install each flange with two appropriate #10 self-threading flat or oval head screws or another fastener system suitable for the wall conditions.
Appropriate anchoring and backing must be provided in accordance with applicable building requirements or the architect's plans before the wall is finished.
For 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, the top of the grab bar should be installed between 33″ [840] minimum and 36″ [915] maximum Above Finished Floor (AFF).
ASI anchors are available separately and should be specified according to the grab bar and mounting conditions.

Operation & Maintenance
Reloading instructions are printed on graphic label inside door.
Bottom roll is depleted prior to top roll automatically dropping into lower position for use.
Empty rollers cannot be removed without key unlocking door.
Installation
Unit is surface mounted on wall or partition using four (4) 1/4″ x 1″ [M6 x 25] Philips pan-head self-threading screws (by others) through slots on rear wall into suitable wall preparation (by others).
Top two (2) mounting holes through back are "keyhole" slots for ease in hanging unit on pre-installed screws. Bottom two (2) mounting holes are horizontal slots for ease of adjustment.
For compliance with 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards install unit with axis of bottom roller 15″ [381] min AFF (Above Finished Floor) to 48″ [1219] max AFF and centerline of dispenser shall be 7″ [178] min to 9″ [229] max. in front of toilet.
