The MR162 is an Apartment/Corridor function lock:
- Latchbolt operated by lever from either side
- Toggle locks/unlocks outside lever
- Key outside retracts latchbolt
- Key outside extends/retracts deadbolt
- Thumbturn inside extends/retracts deadbolt
- Inside lever simultaneously retracts latchbolt and deadbolt
- Auxiliary latch deadlocks latchbolt
